Shipping + Returns
The cost of your delivery will be stated at checkout. Furniture has flat rate shipping and all other items have calculated shipping based on location.
FURNITURE SHIPPINGYour Furniture order will ship when all items in your order are in stock and available for delivery. In the case that some or all items in an order have a lead time, the order will be dispatched once the items with the longest lead time are available. Split shipping is available upon request. Items may ship before the posted lead time if stock becomes available.

All furniture comes fully assembled and ships blanket-wrapped via a third party delivery service, or boxed via a third party parcel service. Depending on location and amount of pieces in your furniture order, items may ship blanket wrapped, or boxed. If applicable, additional boxing fees may apply.
With Flat Rate Shipping, an unlimited number of eligible furniture and select non-furniture items can be delivered for a single flat rate, per shipping address.
THIRD PARTY DELIVERY CARRIERS
We partner with many different carriers and drivers depending on item size, availability and delivery location.
The estimated production or lead time for each product is listed on each product page. Lead times are “best estimate” and may change at any time. We will keep you updated on your order but please understand if there are unexpected delays.
Please allow 1-2 weeks for dispatch of in stock goods once an order has been confirmed.
RECEIVING YOUR FURNITURE ORDER
In the case that a delivery appointment is set with a third party carrier, someone must be home to accept the delivery. Furniture and accessory orders sent via a third party parcel service will not require a delivery appointment.
Unfortunately, we cannot ship to the U.S. territories or foreign countries (including Canada) at this time. However, we are happy to ship to a border agent or provide will call. Saffron + Poe is not responsible for any damaged pieces that are shipped through a forward shipping company and any initial and/or return shipping costs associated with a general return.
You can return any new, undamaged item within 30 days of delivery.
- Be sure to use the original packaging to make sure your return arrives back to us in new condition.
- Customer pays for round trip shipping. Initial and return shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Custom and speciality large quantity furniture orders cannot be canceled and are non-refundable as these items are made to order.
- A 20% restocking fee applies to any return.
- Warehouse Sale, and any discounted items are final sale and non-refundable.
- Second Quality items are final sale and non-refundable.
The following steps outline the returns process. The return process takes approximately 4-6 weeks depending on where the customer is located:
- To get started email email@example.com to notify us of return request. We will approve/deny the request within 3-5 business days.
- To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
- Once approved, we’ll send you a return label or schedule an appointment to have the furniture item picked up by our third party shipping company.
- Once we receive the furniture we will inspect it and then issue a refund to your card (minus 20% restocking fee and round trip shipping).
- Refunds can take 5-7 business days to appear on your account. If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable). Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Exchanges (if applicable). We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange a product for the same item, send us an email at email@example.com. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
Damages to the merchandise while in transit are rare, but occasionally do happen. Should your piece arrive damaged, we will do our very best to have your piece repaired locally, or a replacement shipped out to you if applicable.
Please fully inspect your furniture at the time of delivery and note any damage or defect within 24 hours of receipt, so that we may file a claim with our third party delivery company. Make sure to take photos of the damage to share with us right away, and have the delivery team take photos as well if they are on site. Please note any damages on the Proof of Delivery paperwork, and take a photo of that paper to share with us. Any damage that is not documented on the day of delivery will not be eligible for a damages claim by the third party shipping company. If you sign for the merchandise without noting any damage on the delivery paperwork, the damage will also not be eligible for a claim. If you instruct the delivery team to leave your order at the door in the case that you cannot be home, S + P nor the third party shipping company can be liable for any damages.
If your item arrives damaged please email us within 24 hours at firstname.lastname@example.org with photos of the damage, and a photo of the delivery paperwork noting the damage. In your email, be sure to include as much detail about the delivery as possible, as well as the condition of the item. If Saffron + Poe is not notified of any damages within 24 hours of delivery, the item will not be eligible for a claim.
If you refuse your furniture delivery due to damage, the piece will be brought back to the local delivery terminal. If you refuse the order, please take photos of the damage and delivery paperwork to send to us. We will then review and evaluate the condition of the piece. Please note, the claims process for damaged furniture takes 2-3 months to finalize, and our team will work hard to have a replacement issued or item repaired as soon as possible.
If you choose to ship your items with a carrier or freight forwarder outside of our network, Saffron + Poe cannot be held liable for any damages.
If you request the third party delivery service to hold or store your items, Saffron + Poe is not liable for storage fees and cannot be held liable for any damages that may occur.
If you choose to have your items shipped to/stored at a receiving warehouse, Saffron + Poe is not liable for any losses or damages after they are delivered by our 3rd party delivery company.
