2021 HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE

Whether you eagerly decorate for the holidays on November 1st or patiently wait until after Thanksgiving, holiday shopping is starting early this year! With longer lead times, we're snagging our holiday gifts now to make sure they'll be under the tree just in time.
Today, we're sharing the Saffron + Poe holiday gift guide: a.k.a., everything we're hoping to see under our own trees this year! As if it's any surprise, we're dreaming of a cozy, neutral holiday season filled with good books, warm blankets, and a soft candlelit glow… pure bliss.
Our blankets are made with decadent, ultra-soft 100% baby alpaca wool and handwoven by our artisan partners in Peru. They're perfect for draping over the back of the couch for an effortless, lived-in look or cozying up by the fire with a movie.
...Because you can never have too many! Great for tucking away remotes, papers that need sorting, or dog toys, a stylish catch-all brings order to chaos! We've got our eye on the Stacking Tenganan Baskets, which are handmade in Bali using natural Ata reed and traditional weaving techniques.
Candles are a gift-giving classic, and for good reason: everyone loves receiving them! Our beautiful candles from La Botica and Uzumati Ceramics are handmade with natural, non-toxic wax and cotton wicks. And both come in gorgeous vessels that can be repurposed once the candle has run out, so basically it's like two gifts for the price of one! ;-)
Another gifting classic! A stack of coffee table books or cookbooks instantly makes a room feel intentional and pulled together, and their pages are brimming with incredible inspiration. We're currently obsessed with Super Simple from Half Baked Harvest for quick, delicious meals that are easy to prep ahead of time and use minimal dishes.
Serving boards are a perfect holiday gift for the hostess in your life because they can immediately be put to good use for holiday happy hours and brunches. Ours are from Studio Inko and are handmade by our friend and colleague Rose Teplitz.  Rose thoughtfully selects, cuts, finishes, and oils each cutting and serving board herself. Her work honors the natural variety and pattern of wood grain, and each piece is entirely unique.
The options are endless! For more holiday gift ideas, pop over to our gift section or come visit us at the Mill Valley shop. Happy gifting!
